About Advanced Hearing Center
In 2005, Dr. Terry Snook decided it was time to offer more customized services to her patients. She has been working in the field of audiology for about 30 years in a number of different facilities, including ear-nose-throat clinics. She loved her job, she loved helping people, and she loved what a difference she could make in her patients’ lives. But she felt she wasn’t able to personalize the care she gave each patient as much as she wanted, and sometimes she felt like she didn’t have enough time to do everything her patients needed. She dreamed of creating an office where she could help patients with the extremely high level of care that she preferred. With hard work and determination, this dream became a reality as she opened Advanced Hearing Center in Sugar Land, Texas.
At Advanced Hearing Center, we don’t just settle for helping you hear a little better. We want to make sure you can hear as well as you possibly can. Hearing is one of your most important senses; it helps you connect to the people around you, and it keeps you from feeling isolated. For this reason, we take our commitment to helping you with your hearing very seriously.
Terry Davis Snook
Au.D. - Audiologist
Dr. Snook has worked as an audiologist in the Sugar Land and Houston area for 30 years. She has a B.S. in Communication Disorders from Baylor University and a M.S. in Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas. She received her doctorate degree from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Snook is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and a member of the Texas Academy of Audiology. She is licensed in the state of Texas to practice Audiology and to fit and dispense hearing aids. She enjoys the field of audiology and all the exciting advances in technology.
Dr. Snook enjoys being able to make a difference in a patient’s life by either improving their hearing or their balance or dizziness problems. When she is not working she loves spending time with her family. She enjoys being active outdoors and loves to kayak, paddleboard, snow ski, and water ski, and she recently learned to scuba dive. Dr. Snook is also a supporter and sponsor of Fort Bend Seniors and the Fort Bend County Women’s Center.
Nichole Griep
Au.D.
Dr. Griep joined Advanced Hearing Center in 2021. She earned her B.A. degree in Communicative Sciences & Disorders from Michigan State University and a Doctorate of Audiology Degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), a member of Texas Academy of Audiology (TAA), and has a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Griep is licensed by the state of Texas to practice Audiology and to fit and dispense hearing aids.
Following the tradition of her military family, Dr. Griep served in the United States Air Force for six years prior to joining the Advanced Hearing Center. An avid reader and budding crafter, during her free time Dr. Griep enjoys visiting family, traveling, walking with her dog, and playing board games.
